So the National Hockey League finally reached a tentative agreement with its players? This is after:

* An entire season lost to the lockout.

* Millions of dollars in revenue lost to players, teams, vendors, and local hockey-dependant businesses like sports bars.

* Likely millions of fans who grew tired of waiting and have no interest in supporting ice hockey again.

Was it really worth it? I never thought too highly of the game of "chicken."
